Join Jim as he works through the trials of separation.
Sharron, his wife of 35 years has filed for divorce. To make matters worse, the judge agreed to have the hearing today.
She may want to divorce him, but his lawyer has devised a plan to keep her from separating him from his money (though he might take a bit of it if he can). Guide Jim through the city and collect information he can use at the hearing. You'll also want to secure as much of his money in the process, but hurry because time is limited, and his wife has sent some unsavory people after him!

Quick guide:

Jim
You play as Jim. Use the arrow/wasd keys (or the joystick on touch devices) to move around!

Hold the space bar (or run button on touch devices) to sprint.

Click (or touch) items and people to interact with them

Floppy Disks  Welcome to 1984, where the floppy disk is king. Jim's lawyer has acquired some help around the city to make sure that he gets the most out of his divorce. Each floppy disk contains a piece of information that will be used in the court case to keep Jim's assets with Jim. Collect as many as you can.

Courthouse Sign Once you've collected all of the floppy disks (you need at least 1 to get a score), get to the courthouse sign to complete the game.

Boons & Baddies

Ta-Ko  A friend of Jim's lawyer.  Ta-Ko can be found next to his food truck. Interact with him to buy Jim more time. ($750 cash gets you an additional 2 minutes)

Corrine She normally hangs out near shops and markets. If Jim has $50, she'll sell him an energy drink that doubles his movement speed for 30 seconds.

Separation Player Can usually be found in alleyways. If Jim has $100, he can play a game of Separation for a chance to double the $100.

ATMGo to the ATM to withdraw money before Jim's case. His wife will end up with a lot of what's in the bank at the end. There are a couple of catches, though.
1) She has people watching. If Jim goes back too often, there's a chance they'll catch him and take his money.
2) Sharron hired some hackers  who will continue to take money from Jim's bank when they're around.

Goons  Jim's wife has also hired a group of guys to make sure Jim doesn't get to court. If they find him, it's game over. FYI, they run faster than Jim on the road, but their slick business shoes are no match for his sneakers in the grass.

GPS Indicators
There are three indicators in the game that will rotate around Jim. The white indicator directs you toward floppy disks. The red one becomes active when hackers are around, guiding you to confrontation. And the sea green indicator will show you how to get to the courthouse sign once you've found all the floppy disks.

The Game of Separation:
This game is simple. Each player gets two cards. You can draw until there are no cards left in the deck or you decide to show them. The computer does the same.
The goal is to have the lowest card possible and the highest card possible. Whoever has the largest point gap wins.
Points are as follows:

 Hearts: A: 1 up to King 13
 Clubs: A: 14 up to King: 26
Diamonds: A: 27 up to King 39
Spades: A: 40 up to King 52

The best possible hand would be an ace of hearts (1) and a king of spades (52) = 51 points
The worst hand would be any card that follows another, ex. 1) ace of hearts and 2 of hearts; ex. 2) king of diamonds and ace of spades

Awesome and cool!

I haven't played the whole game, i will later but this so far looks and feels like a good game and i am enjoying it so far. One problem is that it lags alot on android, it looks like its on 5 fps. Are you planning to make a windows build soon?

Clever idea and came out well!

coming along nicely man. Excellent choice for the artwork. Love the story and lore. Keep it up.
